Wedding Vid

We got our wedding video back and I absolutely love it. The day was captured perfectly and I smile and laugh every time I watch it (which is about twice a day). My favorite part is the dancing at the end, my entire family danced, and our videographer caught a move of both my brothers and parents in action, it's so funny!

More than anything it makes me want to go back to this day, watching it makes me forget about my tired feet, hungry stomach, sleepy eyes and stressed out mind. It truly was the best day ever!

More cruisin'

A few more pictures from our honeymoon. The last day on the ship, we were at sea. The weather was perfect, sunny and warm, and no clouds in the sky.

Aaron and I played a game of chess... he won...

Last night dinner in the dining room.

The many morning faces Aaron makes. He also makes up songs and sings to me every morning, it's pretty cute.

Mini golf! He tries to deny it, but I beat him. He's super competitive so that makes it even better.

After we got back to Salt Lake, we drove down to Hurricane/St. George for our second reception in Aaron's stomping grounds.
Saturday morning we went to Bear Paw for breakfast. They are known for having thee best breakfast, so we always stop by when we are down south. The hot chocolate is amazing also! I got chocolate waffles with ice cream, whipped cream and chocolate sauce on top... yum! I definitely couldn't finish it.

After breakfast we headed over to Zion National Park with my bestie Madi and her husband Gavin, Spence and my mom and hiked the narrows. The narrows hikes along a river in a pretty red rock canyon, so since we are in water 99% of the time, I didn't bring a camera. We had a lot of fun, saw a waterfall, peed in the water (thats a big deal for me)and only my mom fell once :), I definitely recommend the narrows.

Such a great honeymoon and little trip down to St. George, can't wait for our next vacation to California in July!

Mem weekend 2k14

Our Memorial weekend was packed full of fun from Friday to Monday! We got our wedding video Friday night, and I think I have watched it everyday at least twice a day since. It is so fun, and my favorite part is watching everyone dance. Aaron and I went to Olive Garden at the District and stopped by Spence's new place in Daybreak where we of course showed him the wedding video.

We returned lots of duplicate presents to Target and got a new ottoman, some rugs, glass cups, placemats and plenty other responsible grown up items. The house is slowly looking better, just a few more things we need to hang, buy, put away and we are settled!

Saturday we went to the Bees game for Big O Bees night with my work. I love being at baseball games because it means SUMMER! and also hot dogs, fireworks and blankets.

Monday we hiked Mount Olympus with Jake and Mary, Spencer, Mary's Mom Cynthia and her friend Ginny. I hiked Mt. O about 3 years ago and promised I would never hike it again... apparently I forgot that. So here I am 3 years later. It's a pretty brutal hike, pretty much allllll uphill. The very end is just bouldering up to the peak, and it's definitely worth it.

Such pretty views at the top. Love these mountains.

We ended the day getting snow cones... my favorite, swimming in Jake and Mary's pool, BBQ'ing, and watching the Bach. Such a fun weekend, it's a bummer to go back to work. Welcome Summer!

Ensenada

Our second cruise stop on the honeymoon was Ensenada Mexico.

Aaron was so excited to use his Spanish with the tour guide and the locals. We hopped on a bus and drove about an hour to a zip lining park. We had a lot of fun! There were 5 different zip lines and 4-5 ropes course type bridges we had to cross. Also just a tip- try not to wear a maxi dress zip lining.

I was the first in the group to cross this side of the bridge thingy. I was nervous the whole time. Half way through the girl behind me was creeping closer and closer to me, making me even more nervous. Finally I told her, "Can you please slow down and give me some space? You're making me nervous". Oh geez I'm such a nerd... Aaron definitely made fun of me for that one, and I don't blame him.

After the zip line tour, we boarded the bus again and drove to go see the blow hole, aka the Bufadora. There was an alleyway of Mexican shops with tee shirts, fake watches, fake purses, jewelry and all sorts of things, with vendors begging for us to shop there.

Unfortunately it was low tide, so we didn't get to see the blow hole in it's full glory.

We finished the day off watching the beautiful Mexican sunset.

Catalina

Our first stop on our honeymoon cruise was Catalina.

Beautiful view from the boat. The homes there were built right into the hill, so cute and colorful.

On the tender to the island.

Our tandem bike we road for the morning.

Streets of Catalina- lots of golf carts and bikes.

Avalon, the city in Catalina we were in is pretty small, we biked around the whole town pretty quickly, it was so fun. I may have lifted my feet a few times and let Aaron pedal lots :).

<3 this view.

Biking to the "Casino"... prettymuch just a grand ballroom.

Lover's Cove.

Cold water but very pretty views at Lover's Cove.

Catalina was a lot of fun! I was exhausted and had a stomach ache so we went back on the ship in the afternoon. Aaron was a champ for letting me take daily naps... I didn't know a wedding would wipe me out so much! Sorry about all the selfies, it's hard to get a pic of the two of us when no one is around!
