Bridals

I am less than 2 weeks away from getting hitched! Everything is slowly coming together, my parents are coming on Saturday, I went to the gynocologist yesterday(yuck!), bridal pictures came this morning, and I have bridal showers booked all week!

I am sooo glad we took our bridals at the Salt Lake Temple! The trees were amaaaaazing! And the weather was perfect, not too hot, not too cold, all you need is a light jacket... you know a typical day in April.

We drove separately so he wouldn't see my dress, until the "big reveal".

Jordi our photographer said he was so nervous... and he even admitted to being nervous later :).

Invitation design

Working at an advertising agency, I manage graphic design projects daily. I know what looks good, what needs help, find spelling errors, get the right files etc. My wedding invitations were no exception.

One of my good friends does graphic design and was nice enough to offer to work on mine for free! Big thank you to Adam! I trusted him to do a good job, and mainly gave him this direction- different, modern, nothing too traditional, but mostly kick butt! I told him to work in the parameter of my colors- peach, silver, gold and white. Here's what he came up with.

Reception invite

Temple invite

Luncheon invite

Everything was wrapped up in this little folder (front cover)

(Inside cover of folder)

We inserted this picture,

Tied some burlappy type string around it to pull it all together, put it in a gray envelope and they were off. I think they turned out so great!

Here's to hoping all our guests get them in the mail!

Thankful Thursday

Amiss the countdown and last minute planning of my wedding, family coming to town, work and exercise, I can't help but just to stop and be amazingly grateful for all I have.

My siblings! They are always so much fun to be around, and since we are not all together very often, I enjoy it even more.

The Temple! I can't picture myself getting married anywhere else. Each temple is uniquely beautiful. I am excited to learn and grow more, and feel peace each time I go.

This boy! Bow chicka wow wowww. So glad I decided to join the Tinder bandwagon almost a year ago.

A healthy body! Sometimes I don't love exercising... okay it happens a lot. But I am so thankful that I have an able body that allows me to do so.

Family vacations! My parents realize the need for a yearly vacation and have followed through with that each year. We have a lot of funny stories and good memories from them. P.S. Isn't Bermuda gorgeous??

Frozen yogurt! My favorite treat. There have been times in my life where I have had it 4-5 times in one week. Aaron has slowly helped me wean off of it.

My parents! They are so supportive in anything I do. They are happy when I am happy. They spoil my brothers and I so much. They are great examples of hard work.

This ring! Love this beautiful ring, but more importantly what it represents- Aaron's hard work and sacrifice, his willingness to let me get what makes me happy, and the promises of marriage.

Furniture! Slowly Aaron's (and soon to be mine) apartment is looking more and more like a living space. He has had his small couch, card table and folding chairs out. We got our new dining table, chairs and couch all set up, it's looking good. I forgot how nice comfy couches are!

Happy Thankful Thursday!
