BB and Life

Over the weekend my in-laws came to town. Mary and I have created a new tradition where we take them to a new restaurant each time they come. 

After a long and successful day of shopping at Traverse Mountain, and of course a trip to Swig, we met the boys at Bohemian Brewery in Midvale just down the street from my house. 

We ended up loving the place. They serve Eastern European and German influenced food. 

The garlic fries and garlic butter were to die for. And it really felt like we were back in Austria, with the decor and good food. 



Back in the real world Aaron is studying nonstop for his health and life insurance test this Saturday. 

After 3 offers, somehow we still can't sell our house in Provo.... 2 mortgage payments are not fun slash stress Aaron out. 

We we blessed and both received raises at both our jobs last week!

We're speaking in church Sunday :/

Still drinking Diet Coke everyyyyyday. One of my biggest fears is being in an area with no access to caffeine. 

Hating shoveling snow, at least we have a small driveway right? 

Obsessed with the Bachelor to the point where we all have chipped in money to a Bachelor bracket. 

January Happenings

We had a nonstop weekend, but had so much fun!

Friday night we went to an awards banquet for the Utah Homebuilders Association. 
We stuffed ourselves with yummy appetizers and food while we watched new officers get sworn in etc..... you know pretty exciting stuff. 

Apparently we are on a Wendover kick cause we spent our Saturday in Wendover.... cause we're classy like that. 

Spence and our friend Taylor joined us, we can always count on him to join :)

Spence was the big winner on this trip. He was killin' it! 

Hopefully since the rest of us lost, it will keep us away for a while.....

On Sunday, Aaron and I helped this kid propose to his girlfriend. 

He did it right before her family pictures at Wheeler Farm, and her dad caught everything on film- luckily he's a photographer. 

Congrats to these two!

Hello 2016!

Although I didn't have an entire 2 weeks off work, it was sure nice to have a break, sleep in, and spend time with the fam. 

We made a late night trip to Wendover with my parents in between Christmas and New Year's. Gambling is so much funner when you win eh? 

We all walked away with more than we arrived with, so I'd call that a HUGE success! 



My parents came and visited my new office and took me to lunch. 

We played lots of Spot It and Psych. 

Ate at the Original Pancake House. 

Watched old movies of us Christmas morning. 

Watched new movies on our Amazon Fire Stick.

Made pazookies. 



We also had a small New Year's get together at our house. New Year's is never fun- always trying to find a party or something to do.... 

So I decided we might as well do something at our house!

Aaron told everyone to bring spare change to play Black Jack and Gamble with. 

I made yummy treats. 

And we rang in the New Year.
