Longest week....

April has been theeee busiest month yet. Dentist appointments. Trip to St. George & Zion. Airport pick ups & drop offs. Werk. Family visiting. House signing & closing. You get it.....

Not complaining because life is great, it's all just pouring on us all at once.

But finally I have time to get back on track and normal after the craziest longest week yet.

Since Grandma V passed away family has been in town all week. Aaron and I signed the papers to our new house in Midvale{yAy!}.
Lucky enough to have good connections with a moving truck- thanks Olsons! Aar drove this truck around like a champ! Shoutout also to our friends who came up from UT Co to help us move! THANKS!!!
First night in the house and soooo dead and ready for bed.....
zzzzzzzzz

With family in town I was trying to balance work and family time. It was rough since it was a heavy work week, full of new proposals, meetings and the usual. That meant going into work early, working through lunch and leaving a little bit early.

The previous owners left the home in pretty good shape, but the wood floors are a little dusty and leave our feet coated in gray. I've been stressing about cleaning it up real good, but can't since we have boxes e-v-e-r-y-w-h-e-r-e.

Someone's teaching me a lesson that I need to just chill for a bit.

My family has been great hanging out in our half put together house, playing games with us and trying to help, even though I know it's hard to help when I need to be the one to put the kitchen together and what not.

In between all the moving we've been deep cleaning our old basement apartment.
Attacking the hard to reach grime.... don't mind me.

Funerals always remind me how blessed we are to be members of the Church, and a great reminder about the plan of salvation. I know Grandma V is with Grandpa once again. She is young, happy and already a great missionary teaching and serving others.

It is bittersweet, but I am so happy for her.

[Side note] Right after the final family prayer in the viewing room, we walked by to see the casket one more time before they closed it. It was obviously an emotional time, very quiet and tearful. During that time, one of my cousin's little kids said very loudly and clearly "there's a bunch of cry babies in here!"

Some laughter definitely erupted haha but a very SMH moment.
It was forecasted to rain all week, but the weather was calm and pleasant!
So grateful for these people right here!

We ended the weekend visiting with friends in Spanish Fork and then stopped by to be with family and play games and have dessert. I didn't even know Aaron caught this pic with me and sweet little Eden.

So glad to have made it through the past week, bring on this week!
