Berkie is growing more and more each day. Can't believe she is 9 months already!

Dwindling Summer
And just like that summer is slowly rolling to an end! Aaron and I love summer so much... I wonder all the time why we don't live in St. George or Arizona..... maybe one day, but we sure are sad to see the light, long summer days dwindle away.
Until then, we'll hang on tight with both hands for as long as we can to the last rays and warm summer days.
Here's a quick update on what we've been up to...
We got our family pictures back from our July shoot... loving them, but also can't believe how fast baby B has grown already!
Snow cone life... yes please!
I feel like we've been going to weddings nonstop this summer! Aaron had 2 nieces get married, and I had 3 cousins get married.
DaddyG came into town for one of the weddings. Poor guy watched Berkie for half a day and she cried the whole time. And anytime he'd try to hold her, she just screamed. So the one time for 10 minutes that she was happy, he took advantage and we had to take a picture(post diaper blowout :/)
We visited our friends Logan & Anna and their little family in Twin Falls over Labor Day weekend. We just hung out, visited the falls, ate, Anna did our hair and played. It was a fun break!
Talking with GG
Rest stop break... look at that little elbow dimple! #chuglifeThe sweetest little thing. She is happy 99% of the time. Always smiling and happy. If she's not she's not happy, she is just hungry or tired... or wants a little bit of attention... we are so blessed with a healthy, happy baby!

AZ
We had the best little vacation to Scottsdale over our birthdays.
I finagled my work schedule a bit since we have Pioneer Day and our birthdays off so that it all lined up and we could leave town.
It was our first trip with Baby B and I'd call it a success.
Just on the learning curve of traveling and packing with a baby.
We flew out of Provo and into Mesa. Berkie was pretty good on the plane. A little fussy when we first got on, but zonked out pretty quickly after going and coming. #blessed
Arizona in July is not for the faint of heart... but we survived.
I think the lowest temperature I saw was 89 degrees... and that was at 4 in the morning!
So a lot of our time was spent indoors eating, hanging at our cozy Air Bnb, swimming(even that was too hot) and shopping.
Cuties swimming
One of my favorite pics... dying how she's holding her little piggy
Shake Shack FTW
Palm tress never get old
Trying new foods! Slowly getting her pureed foods and juices. She loved sucking the orange. Also I loved going to Sweet Tomatoes

Happy 31 to Aar!

Time flies...
Time sure flies! Photo dump below and quick updates on our new lives as parents.
Baby Berkeley is almost 4 months old!
Currently......
Sitting in bumbo
Holding her head up(so nice to not have to worry about supporting her neck)
Smiling
Getting ready to giggle
Cooing
Teething :/
Up until about last week, the sweet thing slept at night really good. Now she wakes up 2 times, plus a few little whimpers for her bink... but it could be worse.
Don't tell Aaron- but I think he's her favorite.
She is starting to want to be entertained all the time.
Loves walks and being outside and new places.
I've gone back to work 4 days a week, and we have a nanny to watch her the other days.
I'm behind on all my shows and haven't worked out in who knows how long.
Evening walks are my favorite with Aaron(& Berkie) are my favorite. She loves them, but I love the time Aa and I have to talk mostly uninterrupted.
My poor postpartum hair is falling out by the clumps.
Still recovering from a busy week for the 4th of July. Rafting down the Provo with my family, Park City, Melting Pot, Spike ball, Pickle ball, Cornhole, Snow cones, Baby blessing, Hosting 2 separate families at our house, and working in between it all.
Newborn pics with Lexi
Fourth of July bb
Peeking in the bathroom
Sweetest little bb at the hospital!
One of her first baths, she loves them!
New smiles!
Hanging with our nanny Hannah
Blessing day. She SCREAMED through the entire thing. Luckily we did the blessing after church, but poor thing was probably overwhelmed being swarmed by men she doesn't know.
Hanging with Uncle David in Park City
Stiff hands :)
More stiff hands
We sure love this little baby.

Baby B Birth
Okay I've been majorly slacking about posting about our new sweet bb!
So here's a quick birth story update...
Berkeley was due on March 21st. All my appointments leading up the last few weeks didn't show any progress, and it looked like we were going to have to schedule an induction.
I told my parents and David the induction, so they could plan their flights- since that would be the latest she would come.
I went in Tuesday afternoon March 20th for the regular weekly check up- I was at 40 weeks! Still no progress, so I scheduled an appointment for the following week. I wasn't expecting a baby anytime soon.
After the appointment I ran errands, got a bday present for Gma Jack. Aaron played basketball like he usually does on Tuesday nights.
And that's when it happened. I had just gotten out of the shower around 10:30 pm. I still felt wet. Changed my underwater... and I was leaking. So I texted Aaron.... "I think my water broke. I'm not in pain, but I'll just hang tight."
Then I started Googling.
Then I called my OB.
She said come in!
Then I texted Aaron. No response.
Then I called Aaron. No response.
Then I called Aaron again. No response.
...Luckily I was not in pain, so I started packing my things, and waited for Aaron to call/come home.
Finally he called back, he hurried home, showered and we were off to the hospital.
I didn't tell anyone at that points because I've heard of so many women with false alarms. By this time it was about midnight.
Sure enough, my water did break. This baby was coming!
We called my parents, and my mom booked the next flight out to SLC!
2-3 hours later, I started feeling contractions. The nurses said I could have the epidural whenever I wanted. I didn't want to be a wuss, so I suffered through about an hour of contractions. Finally I called in the epidural and all I can say is epidurals save lives.
Let me repeat: EPIDURALS SAVE LIVES!
We were able to sleep on and off between the nurses checking.
Spence and Lexi came up earlier that morning around 7.
My mom's flight got in around 10:15, it was getting close.
Around 9- 10 I was starting to feel lots of pressure. I thought the epidural was wearing off, but nope, that baby was ready to come!
I was so scared to start pushing. The fear of the unknown is so real! In hindsight everything was so smooth and we were so blessed, but in the moment, the unknown was scary!
In came all the supplies- scissors, gloves, bowls, needles and more.
My mom's plane had just landed, she was going to miss it, so she stayed on speaker phone with Lexi and facetime.
About 30ish minutes of pushing and sweet Baby B was here!
March 20th | 10:33 am | 6 lbs 13 oz | 19 1/4 inches long
15 minutes later and my mom came running in. She just missed it.
Luckily Lexi caught everything on camera! Before we knew it we were being whisked away to recovery.
The next few days were tiring, but full of love and support.
Spence and Lexi stayed for most of the time, brought treats and presents.
Chancen and Abbee came to visit.
Charlotte came.
Amy came.
Grandma came.
KAA sent the sweetest gift basket.
The hospital food was horrific, so my mom brought in food.
Later that night, we had Berkeley's ZERO birthday party. Her original birthday. We had a banner, cupcakes, party hats and sang to her.
It was such an exhausting but good day.
Can't say how blessed we are with all the support we have.
Welcome to the world Baby Berkeley!
*pictures to come*

Baby Shower
It's been a busy weekend with family!
My mom flew in for the weekend to throw me a baby shower!
So I took Friday off, and she came to my doctor's appointment with me... everything is going good so far- can't believe I'm at 33 weeks!
We had lunch at Village Baker.
Toured Spencer's new office at the co-working site in Lehi.
Went to Costco. Twice.
Got party supplies.
Saturday was spent mostly at the shower, and just hanging out- with a visit to Last Course for dessert YUM!
My mom and Lexi did such a good job! Along with all their helpers!
A ballon garland strand, succulent takeaways, great food, fun games and all the family.
Also, I'm looking huuuuuge :/
Aaron came at the end to help me load up.
So many good, sweet presents! But isn't this little crochet doll my aunt made adorable? My mom got me the cutest turtle dress, a sweet bonnet from Lexi, bath supplies, clothes, changing table, diapers, and Susanne got us a stroller and car seat.
We are so lucky!
And the Pugh's came up just for the shower- such a quick day trip!
Can't forget Last Course^ we'll be back...
